Before each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4". This prevents the flame from getting too large and ensures an even burn. Trimming your wick also prevents black residue from forming around your candle jar.

 On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the container, between 2-4 hours depending on the candle size. This will prevent tunneling and ensures the candle burns evenly for subsequent uses. After extinguishing, let the candle cool completely before moving or handling it. Once completely cooled, clean any wax residue on the candle walls to prevent tunneling on the next burn.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish your candle before going to sleep or leaving the room where it is lit.
  • Make sure your candle is out of a child's or pet's reach. 
  • Never place a lit candle near anything that could catch fire. 
  • Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent excessive heating.
